Aditya Apte - Vocalist

Aditya Madhusudan Apte is a dedicated Hindustani classical vocalist rooted in the Gwalior Gharana, one of the oldest and most revered traditions of Indian classical music. Initiated into music prenatally by his parents, Mrs. Maneesha Apte and Mr. Madhusudan Apte, both accomplished vocalists themselves, Aditya's musical journey began in the lap of tradition. His early training in vocal music was guided entirely by his parents, who instilled in him the values of discipline, raga structure, and the emotive depth of the Gwalior gayaki.

In 2017, Aditya’s vocal pursuit reached a new milestone when he was accepted as a disciple of Padmashri Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar, one of India’s most respected vocalists and a master of the Gwalior–Agra–Jaipur Gharana traditions. Since then, Aditya has been undergoing rigorous taalim under his guidance, deepening his understanding of raga aesthetics, voice culture, and the layered intricacies of khayal gayaki. With a vision to dedicate his life to music, Aditya aspires to carry forward the vocal legacy inherited from both his parents and Guru with integrity and innovation.
